  Departing from Porto, we head east via the motorway toward Vila Real. Along the way, you’ll pass through a landscape rich with lush green vegetation and rugged granite formations.
• Amarante
  Our first stop brings us to the charming town of Amarante. Here, we’ll explore the picturesque city center, set along the Tâmega River, with its impressive church dominating the skyline. You’ll have free time to stroll around, visit the church, and savor a coffee with traditional pastries before we continue our journey to the Douro Valley.
• Douro Valley
  To reach the stunning Douro Valley, we’ll pass through the Marão Tunnel—one of the longest in Portugal—carving through the Marão Mountains, often considered the natural gateway to the valley. As we emerge, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking terraces of vineyards, a man-made wonder of the landscape.
